Who we are
A nation in the mountains
It started with a revolution; the state came after. Edelweiss was put together by people who were tired of everything being decided for them and wanted to live their own way.
We stand on people who came here themselves and stayed themselves. Everyone decides for themselves here, and everyone is heard. Towns, farms, politics — all of it rests on us.
We play on the vanilla server CMCraft. Our farms are among the best on the server, our shop is one of the busiest — it stands in the hub at spawn. The town is designed; the details are left.
Nothing is decided for us
We left a place where everything was decided from above. Here people argue, vote from the tribune and listen to one another
Nobody is held here
Everyone here came on their own and stayed on their own. Citizenship is not a chain: leave if you want, no one will stop you.
Everything rests on us
Towns, farms, politics — no one will do it for us. What we built is what the state is.

The long quarrel with the Anglo-Prussian alliance ended in war. We gave up the disputed territory ourselves, trying to find a compromise — it was taken for weakness. The alliance went on threatening war in the publishing house and breaking agreements. War was declared on Prussia and the Federal Republic of England.

22 May 2026Peace again… but for how long?
Prussia and England backed out of the war, the ticket is closed. A state born of revolution now builds instead of fighting: neutrality is declared, military production frozen until the next conflict.

23 May 2026A pact with the DRV, and the UUC joins the Confederation
A friendship pact with the Democratic Republic of Volno was signed at night: friendship and free passage into each other’s towns. The same day the Union of Underground Cities joined the Confederation with full rights — the same government in the city, the same way of life; one thing changes: now we stand behind them.

yokkolk handed martan6 the dragon egg for unlimited use — no treaties, no conditions. While the EuroBloc was promising to destroy everyone, the most valuable trophy on the server quietly moved to us.

27 May 2026The first Keeper of the Council is elected
Tomon_one became Keeper. This is in effect the head of state: the final decision rests with him, he is elected for a month, and any councillor may stand.

1 June 2026, 17:50 MSKA change of Keeper
Tomon_one left the post: the war had been won, and he would not finish off a beaten enemy. martan6 became Keeper of the Council. The same day the Confederation stopped all aggression towards Prussia and its alliance.

5 August 2026The Confederation has its own website
edelweiss-alpine-confederation.ru is open: the Constitution, the chronicle, diplomacy and the news archive. News and titles are brought to the site by our Discord bot, and a counter shows which of ours are in game right now. Made by Tomon_one.

10 August 2026Our own bot instead of six strangers
A bot of our own took over the work of JuniperBot, VoiceMaster, Ticket Tool and three smaller bots: moderation, private voice channels, tickets and membership applications. Birthday greetings, a live scoreboard and the monthly census came later.

17 August 2026A new redaction of the Constitution takes effect
The basic law has been rewritten and took effect on publication: nine chapters, thirty-eight articles. The old text said nothing about citizenship or punishment, and could be amended like any ordinary law, by two Council votes; seventeen such gaps are now closed. The Voice of the People has been established: an independent body that puts questions to a vote of the citizens and that the Council cannot block. Citizens themselves may demand a vote, and a demand backed by a third of them cannot be refused. An authority that forgets to hold elections can be removed by it.

22 August 2026The Council chosen by the citizens for the first time
The previous line-up had sat since May and was appointed rather than elected: back then the Council simply took two people in. On 18 August the Voice of the People handed the Council an ultimatum — the Keeper's term had been overdue by forty-eight days, the offices stood empty, and no account of the treasury had been given. Two days later the Council called an election for the whole line-up. Exactly three candidates stood for three seats, so no vote was needed: martan6, lemwoff and Artyr6532 entered the Council. Keramik stepped down himself, Xorzet chose not to stand. The new line-up will elect a Keeper from among its own. So the second Council began.
